• An adult body has 206 bones
• A child has about 300 bones
• The femur is the biggest bone in the body
• The femur is in the upper leg
• The stirrup is the smallest bone in the body
• The stirrup is in the inner ear

Build a Bone Step 1

• Shape a 2 inch square of corrugated paper into a
  tube and tape the ends together. The paper is to
  be the compact bone.

Build a Bone Step2

• Roll a 2 inch square of rubber shelf liner and
  put it inside of the compact bone. This is to be
  the spongy bone.

Build a Bone Step 3

• Put red and yellow pompoms in of the rubber shelf
  liner. This is to be the red marrow and the
  yellow marrow.
