Functional design
4
Functional design.Repository
  • This is where the documents are stored in an
    organised manner.
  • What is a document? Any type of elemental
    electronic document (image, video, audio)
accompanied by metadata (size, date, total). A
document can also be considered as any well
    defined collection of elemental documents.
  • Flexibility The repository is independent from
the specific storage system, an may be a database
(Oracle, sql-server) or any other type of
    platform.
  • Versions The repository incorporates a versions
    management system for documents.

5
Functional design.Repository
  • Configurable We can configure the documents to
    be processes hierarchically.
  • Traceability We can see the evloution of a
document over time, with information about who,
what and when the document was modified.

6
Functional design.Workflow
  • A series of tools which manage the flow of work,
that is, move documents to the appropriate person
or activity at the proper moment.
  • Configurable Permits the configuration of the
workflows according to the business needs of the
    client, improving communication and understanding
between the client and the software provider.
  • Conditions The flows may be conditional, that
is, documents may be redirected depending on the
    configured parameters and values.
  • Priorities A document or series of documents may
be given priority in order to advance their
    processing.

7
Functional design.Workflow
  • Monitoring We can see the position of a specific
document, or how many documents are pending a
    specific operation, at all times.
  • Expandability It is possible to program
applications to meet specific business needs and
integrate them into the ATRIL workflow.

8
Functional design.Capture

information to be extracted from documents and
incorporated into the repository in the form of
    metadata.
  • Aquisition ATRIL is designed with tools for
    document acquisition.
  • Local digitalisation primarily oriented towards
    massive processes.
  • Remote digitalisation multi-function systems,
    web, etc.
  • Extention mechanisms for the creation of new
import modules adapted to the needs of specific
    projects.
  • Configurable tool for data recording.
  • Tools of image management
  • Filters.
  • Reconstructions.
  • Format changes.

9
Functional design.Capture
  • Optical recognition
  • We offer our own Recognition engine.
  • Allowing the integration of third party
    Recognition products.
  • Highly configurable, permitting information to
be obtained from various sources and combine them
    to obtain optimum results.
