Project Background

• The Florida Mentoring Partnership, chaired by
  Steve Uhlfelder, agreed to begin working on a
  mentoring initiative focused on recruiting caring
  adults to be matched with children housed at two
  group homes, one in Orange and the other in
  Osceola.
• The purpose of the project it to ensure youth
  participants are engaged in school and graduate
  from high school.

• 34 potential participant youth
• Sunnyside Village, Osceola County
• 35 potential participant youth
