The Cay by Theodore Taylor Reviewed by Ian
The Cay by Theodore Taylor, is a story that takes
place on an island.   The island is located in a
place called The Devil's Mouth.   The characters
in the story are Philip and Timothy.   Timothy is
a local and Philip is an American boy who lives
in Curacao because his father works for the Navy.
The book is about Philip and Timothy stranded
on the island.  Their boat got hit by a German
submarine torpedo during the war. Philip woke up
on a lifeboat with Timothy and a cat. One
exciting thing that happens is a that a
hurricane comes and hits the island.   I would
recommend this book to someone who likes books
about survival.   I liked the book because it was
exciting and adventurous.
