'anorexia-epidemics' under American students,
English and Argentine highschool students,
fotomodels and Hollywood-actresses are not based
on facts. The idea that anorexia nervosa is a
typical Western illness, is based on nothing. The
prevalence of anorexia nervosa is the same
worldwide. The fact that anorexia is more seen in
people from a higher social economical class is
not supported by sufficient evidence.
