Lab Meeting Format (Journal Club)

• Presentations must be done in powerpoint format.
• Save the PDF files of the paper(s) you are
  presenting to the shared lab folder (e.g.
  \\Mbntsrv1\Shared\kanglab\Lab Meeting
  Presentations\Journal Club\Jun) at least two days
  before the meeting so that other people have time
  to read them before the meeting.
• Topics chosen should be related to our lab
  research or have a broad impact in the field
  (e.g. a novel technology, a revolutionary
  convept, a brand new field)

• What to present?

• Background
• One (or several related) paper(s).

• Question
• Result
• Strength of the paper, caveats,
  misinterpretations, shortcoming, ways of
  improvement/future research.
• How does it related to our current research
