These memories were gathered in Mrs. Taylors
classroom The students each created a slide,
and Ms. Wintermute, the computer teacher put them
together to make this slide show!

Mrs. Taylor Rules

• I really enjoyed being in third grade, with Mrs.
  Taylor as my teacher who helped us all do the
  wonderful things we did. One of the nice things
  we did was Myths and Marshmallows. I liked it
  because we got to hear good stories that people
  wrote. We got to see cool constellations.I loved
  the marshmallows! We got to have about 5
  marshmallows.
• I liked the dress-up biography because I liked
  learning about Jackie Joyner Kersey and all the
  things she did in the Olympics. I really liked
  wearing my dads shirt and dressing like runner,
  different than usual.
• Field day was really fun. I liked to run so it
  was perfect day for me. My most favorite thing
  was the water relay race. I really like getting
  wet and riding the scooters. What we had to do is
  get on a scooter with a soaking wet sponge and
  squeeze the sponge out in a bucket. Whoever got
  the most water in the bucket won the race.
• I really wish I could keep Mrs. Taylor as my
  teacher. Whenever I see her I will wave to her
  and say hi. I will not forget her for all the
  good things she did with us.

3rd Grade is Almost Over !

• I liked the dress up biography because I liked
  learning about Neil Armstrong and how his life
  began and how he was the first man to walk on the
  moon.It was so cool !
• I also liked the first day of school when we got
  to meet our wonderful teacher Mrs. Taylor! She is
  the best teacher I have had so far!
• Ill miss 3rd grade, but I am looking forward to
  4th.

MEMORIES OF THIRD GRADE

• I liked many things in third grade. On Apple
  Day I liked reading about Johnny Appleseed, and I
  liked the candy apples. They were great! I also
  liked field day. I liked the games especially the
  water relay race. I also liked the popsicles.

• Third Grade is almost over. I really liked
  cursive because now I can read and write cursive.
  I also liked Apple Day because we got to make
  caramel apples, and then we ate them. I liked
  learning about Johnny Appleseed.

• The year is almost over. These are the
  things I liked. For instance I liked beach day
  because I felt happy that my mom came. I liked
  the first day of school because I made new
  friends.
• When the year is over Ill miss that and Mrs.
  Taylor.

My Third Grade Memories

• I think third grade is the best grade. These are
  some things I did in third grade. One of my
  favorite memories was Apple Day because we got to
  dip the apples in caramel ourselves and the best
  part- eating them. I also liked the mayor
  election because we made posters and voted. I
  liked Field Day too, because we got to get wet
  and do fun activities like the Frisbee throw. My
  favorite thing about Field Day is that I had fun.
  I love third grade but Im really looking forward
  to fourth grade.

Third Grade Memories

• Some Memories that I have of third grade
  areApple Day because we got to make and eat
  caramel apples. Another one is Beach Day because
  I got to eat Wendys, and my Mom came and watched
  me play kickball. I really liked Field Day
  because we got to do the water balloon toss and
  tug of war and water scooter relay. Those are all
  things that I liked about third grade.

My Third Grade Memories

• One of my favorite days was when we went to the
  planetarium. When we got there we had to go
  up a lot of stairs. Then we went to have lunch.
  It was at a college. We had lunch in the
  cafeteria. We also had time to talk. Then we went
  into the planetarium. A planetarium is a big
  bubble. A screen comes up. There were two boys
  and a cardboard rocket. They imagined that they
  went to the moon and all 9 planets. That was a
  good time.

My Third Grade Memories

• Third grade is almost over and I dont want to
  forget Apple Day because my mom came in to help
  and we made caramel apples. Mrs. Taylor read us
  Johnny Apple Seed and lots of other books about
  apples. Bat Day was fun too, because we learned
  about bats and read books like Stellaluna. I
  liked Shenanigan's Day because when we werent in
  school a leprechaun came in and messed up our
  calendar. My desk had lots of glitter. We ate
  four leaf clover jello. Myths and Marshmallows
  was really fun. We got to make stories and
  constellations. We ate marshmallows and read
  stories. Best of all I like my teacher and my
  friends. Ill miss third grade!

My Third Grade Memories!

• I think 3rd grades the best grade! My
  favorite subjects are, Art, Computers, Library,
  Math, Gym, Reading, Music, Science, and Social
  Studies. I like them all because they are fun and
  I learned a lot from them!!!!!! They help me a
  lot.
• My favorite one is Art!!
• I like school a lot! I liked, Beach Day, Field
  Day, and Apple Day!!! I liked the Dress Up
  Biography, too!!!
• I love 3rd grade! It was fun to me! All the
  teachers are really cool!!!

MEMORIES OF THIRD GRADE

• Third grade is almost over. I really liked
  learning cursive. It was the best. I also liked
  Apple Day because we got to coat the apples with
  caramel and eat the caramel apples. I liked third
  grade. It was really fun.

• Third grade is almost over. These are some of the
  things I really liked Field day because I liked
  the obstacle course, and Mrs. Taylor because you
  taught me a lot of stuff. Some of the things
  she taught me were cursive, Multiplication, and
  Division. I also liked Shenanigans day because I
  got a note from Lucky the Leprechaun. There was
  glitter all over our desks. I also liked Bat day
  because we learned about bats. I never knew bats
  were that interesting and there are so many kinds
  of bats. I also liked Myths and Marshmallows
  because we ate marshmallows. It felt like we
  were eating marshmallows and telling myths. It
  was so cool. I really liked 3rd grade, but Im
  still looking forward to 4th grade!

My Third Grade Memories

• My favorite things about third grade are Field
  Day and Beach Day. Beach Day was the day we got
  to have lunch with my family and with my sister
  on the playground.
• On Field Day it was raining on Friday so the
  school changed the day to Monday. I was so
  happy. On that day we played lots and lots of
  games such as the water balloon toss and the
  water relay race . We got all wet from the
  water and we play obstacles on the playground.
  We also played football kickoff and we had
  popsicles for refreshments. I miss third grade.

3rd Grade Memories

• My favorite thing in school is reading because
  its fun and certain books are exciting. I also
  like math because I like to learn and learning is
  fun. I also like writing because I have a big
  imagination, and I can use it and put it into
  words. I also liked learning how to write in
  cursive. I liked doing my planet report on
  Jupiter and I learned some really interesting
  facts about Jupiter. My dress up biography was
  really fun, too. Its pretty hard to believe
  Albert Einstein lived as long as he did because
  the Nazis hated two kinds of people and Albert
  Einstein just happened to be both of them . I
  also like health because its fun learning about
  the muscles , dental hygiene and the digestive
  system .
• I think the best thing about school is learning
  , which is almost everything we do . Im going
  to miss Mrs. Taylor but Im also looking forward
  to fourth grade . Third grade was a lot of fun
  and when I ever see Mrs. Taylor in the hall Ill
  always wave to her .

3rd Grade Memories

• Im writing about memories in third grade. First
  Im writing about Field Day. At first I was
  walking in the room. Everyone who was there was
  getting unpacked. I got my glasses out of my
  book bag and also my book bag I got out my snack,
  my folder and my assignment book I hung up my
  book bag and hung up my jacket .I went over to
  read the morning message and said it was Field
  Day I read the rest then I went back to my seat
  to do the Daily Edit. There were two sentences,
  and you had to write them in cursive and correct
  them. After that we discussed field days rules
  when we went back for morning meeting. Then we
  had snack, lunch and recess. Then it was time
  for field day. First was the water balloon toss,
  but that wasnt my favorite one. This ones my
  favorite one. We used sponges and water and we
  got all wet. It was really fun! Then was the
  obstacle course and then the relay races. But no
  matter if you won or lost, field day was always
  fun!

• The year is almost over. The days I liked the
  most were the ones when I went to gym. We get to
  play games. Beach Day was fun too.

• Third Grade was a lucky year. We had Apple Day.
  I like apples with caramel. I liked Field Day
  because I like to get wet. On Beach Day I liked
  to play on the playground . In gym I like to do
  sports. At the planetarium I liked to see the
  planets and the stars.

I liked many things in third grade

• On the first day of school, everyone was
  nice. I saw a lot of my friends like Andrew,
  Chris, and Kevin. A few months later was Apple
  day. We had leaned about Johnny Appleseed and had
  a lot of fun .
• Bat day, and all the other things were fun. I
  just like third grade a lot.

Third Grade Memories

• Third Grade is almost over, and Ive had lots of
  memories. These are some of the things I will
  always remember. On Apple Day we made caramel
  apples and got to eat them. It was good. I will
  also remember Bat Day. We learned about bats. It
  was fun! But the memory I will most remember is
  my teacher Mrs.Taylor. She taught me a lot in the
  year. I really liked learning about space! I will
  think about how the marshmallows tasted when we
  did Myths and Marshmallows. I will also remember
  how Mrs. Taylor read stories like The Witches
  and Shiloh. I liked how she used expression when
  she read. Third grade has been a big memory!

My Third Grade Memories

• Two of my favorite memories from third grade are
  Apple Day and Bat Day. Apple Day is when we did
  an apple day packet. We had to draw an apple and
  color it and I love drawing and learned about
  Johnny Appleseed. I had fun!!!
• Bat Day is when we did a bat packet. We got to
  draw and color bats, learned about bats, watched
  2 different movies on bats. It was so cool having
  Apple day and Bat Day. I will miss third grade
  because of apple Day, Bat Day and all my
  friends!!
