3Log in With Your User Information
4Click Enter MathXL for School
5Click on the name of a course
6The Navigation Buttons on the left give students
and teachers access to the features of MathXL
for School.
Navigation Buttons
7A teacher can see the student view at any time
through the use of the Student Navigation
Buttons. These are the buttons that students use
to access all features of MathXL for School.
8All teacher features are accessed through the
Instructor Navigation Panel.
Note Students will not be able to see or access
the Instructor Navigation Buttons.
9All instructor features of a MathXL for School
course are managed through the Instructor
Navigation Buttons.
- Course Manager
- Create or Copy a Course
- Manage Course List
- Change Course Settings
- Copy or Delete a Course
- Run the Browser Check
- Create Assignments or
- Announcements
- View the Gradebook
10To Create or Copy a Course from the Course
Manager, use the Create or copy a course button.
11Use the Manage Course List link to establish
which courses appear as current courses, making
them available for management through the drop
down menu that appears on most pages.
Checked courses are current courses
12Use the Actions menu to the right of the course
to change settings, copy, delete, run the browser
check, create assignments or announcements or
view the gradebook for that course.
13Change Course Settings
Select Edit to change the setting in a category.
14Copy a Course
Copy the current course or select another one
from the drop-down menu.
15Delete a Course
Note Be sure you have exported all student data
before deleting a course. Once a course is
deleted, it cannot be restored.
16Run the Browser Check
17Create Assignments
Assignments can be created for the selected
course or any active course in the drop down menu.
18Create Announcements
Announcements can be created for the selected
course or any active course in the drop down menu.
19View the Course Gradebook
The gradebook for the selected course or any
course in the drop-down menu can be viewed and
managed.
