4Attendance Policy
The consequence for failure to attend one class
will result in a written warning letter and a
required make-up session by a set deadline.
Missing more than one class will result in
required make-up sessions by a set deadline AND
deduction of clinic credits earned during a trip
(five adjustments deducted for each missed
meeting beyond the first missed class). Failure
to comply with required make-up sessions may
result in loss of trip along with associated
financial aid, and expenses already incurred on
the students behalf at that point will be the
responsibility of the student. Additionally, the
matter may be submitted to the College Judicial
Officer by Clinic Abroad administration.

6How can I pay for this trip?
- There are many ways that your clinic abroad trip
can be funded. Of course, you can always pay for
it on your own or have your rich relative get the
bill. However for those of you that do not have
a giving relative, there may be student loans
available. - If you are a US student, you may also be eligible
for work-study funds to help defray the cost.

- Please note, if you have only partial loan
availability, you must pay the deposit and any
balance after your loans by the deadline!

questions to the whole group and maintain

11What do I need to complete?
- If you are not eligible for work-study, please
complete the top page. - For Payroll
- Federal W4 Form.
- State W4 Form. (Either Iowa or Illinois. NOT
both) - I9 Form
- 2 LEGIBLE copies of approved IDs.
- (You should have brought these with you. If not
they need to be turned into the business office
no later than Monday, Dec. 5. If you do not turn
these in, you will not get work-study!)
