- This subsystem allows maintenance personnel to
- generate, list, update MAFs, requisition parts
and sign-off all - scheduled and unscheduled (both aviation and
non-aviation) - maintenance and material requirements.
- manage Individual Component Repair Listing
(ICRL) - (We will not be covering this Subsystem as it
pertains to strictly - maintenance at this time. Specific items will be
addressed later - during training.)

14SUPPLY SUBSYSTEM
- This subsystem provides the capability of
- on line requisitioning
- automated requisition maintenance
- automated repairable inventory management
- material inventory management
- master records maintenance
- selected reports capability
- query parts status and inventory summaries
- transledger inquiry
15SUPPLY SUBSYSTEM
- allows users to generate or cancel material
requirements - process receipts
- manage material support requirements
- IOU and DIFM Processing
- Pack-up and sub-custody transactions
- Cross reference part numbers, CAGE, FGC and NSN
- provides on-line (MRIL).
16SUPPLY SUBSYSTEM
Production supervisors use this subsystem to
check rotatable pool and EXREP assets that
impact their work priorities, check on awaiting
parts status, and query the activity's inventory
summaries and transledger. (We will go deeper on

38ASSET SUBSYSTEM
This subsystem contains the functions that are
required to maintain inventory, utilization, and
readiness data for SE and IMRL items. It is an
interactive system, meaning that the addition or
subtraction of an IMRL item file automatically
initiates or updates the equivalent record for
that item in the SE file. (We will not be
covering this Subsystem as it pertains to
strictly maintenance at this time. Specific
items will be addressed later during training.)

43REPORTS SUBSYSTEM
- This subsystem allows supply and maintenance
personnel - to generate reports of all MAF generated
discrepancies, - operational capability of SE, work center
production - workload, and forced removal items
- Allows frequency and date/time schedules
- Consists of pre-selected items and criteria
except for the - ADHOC section which allows the user to customize
reports - (We will go deeper in these screens later during
this course)

53SYSTEM SUBSYSTEM
- This subsystem provides the user with
- The ability to add, update and delete user
account within NALCOMIS. Modify org code
information as well as control the supply
interface and HCN program. - An on-line task to review the requests for
reports, and to release them for subsequent
printing. - (We will not be covering this Subsystem at this
time as it pertains strictly to Data Base
Application Administration. (SAA) We will

60BATCH PROCESS SUBSYSTEM
- Contains standard batch processes which process
non-interactive - functions in NALCOMIS.
- To purge data from the database
- Extract information from the database for local
and up-line reporting - Format data files for interface to/from other
computer systems - Update the NALCOMIS database from periodic
receipt of - interface files from other computer systems.
- (Some batch processes are divided into scheduled
groups such as - Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-annual and
Annual. As you run - each batch process, the extract is queued for
release in the queue) - (We will not be covering this Subsystem at this
time as it pertains strictly to - Data Base Application Administration. (SAA) We

IMA personnel perform specific tasks in support
of their organization based on their rate and
rank and specified assignments. The user must be
authorized to perform these tasks in NALCOMIS
IMA. The user must be added to the system
before he/she can use NALCOMIS IMA. Military or
civilian personnel can be added when official
notification of arrival has been received. You
can then assign those tasks that the user will
perform in NALCOMIS IMA. This enables access to
the appropriate windows and provides data entry
capability for the assigned tasks.
74SECURITY
- Individual tasks and task groups can also be
revoked globally - when necessary. This prevents all authorized
users from - performing the revoked task. Use this feature
in instances where - it is necessary to have users unable to
perform a specific task for - troubleshooting. When done, reestablish the
functionality and - authorization to the authorized users.

assessments, will be labeled For Official Use
Only and protected appropriately. NALCOMIS is
not authorized to process Level I data.
