Chasys Draw IES is a suite of applications
including a layer-based image editor with
animation, vista-style icon support and
super-resolution via image stacking (Chasys Draw
Artist IES), a multi-threaded image file
converter (Chasys Draw Converter IES) and a fast
image viewer (Chasys Draw Viewer IES). The whole
suite is Vista UAC aware and is designed to take
advantage of multi-core processors.

Basic Painting
With Chasys Draw you can paint life-like images
like (and much better than) the ones on this
page. The tools have been chosen in such a way
that you can combine them to create almost any
effect you can possibly think of - from painting
the sky, clouds and smoke to shadows, lighting,
perspective and lighting gradient.

Photo Editing
Chasys Draw is not just a painting tool it has
extensive photo editing and correction
capability. You can edit your digital photos,
removing (or healing) the blemishes
characteristic of imagery captured using digital
cameras and scanners (and even natural ones like
pimples) without losing the harmony and flow of
the original. You can also copy and transfer
parts of images, creating interesting effects
like the one shown here.

Layer-based Editing
Chasys Draw IES supports free-style layering,
which allows you to separate your image into
portions that you can manipulate and edit
independently, much like you would when working
with a page layout program. Not only does this
make it easier for you to make corrections later,
but it also allows you to do complex editing that
was not possible before. The free-style layers
can be moved about all over the virtual desktop
of the workspace, much like you can place photos
anywhere on your table.

Basic Animation
Chasys Draw IES can do frame-based animations
like the ones you see all over the web. You can
load video files and take snapshots of your
workspace for use as video frames. You can also
edit the frames independently or apply global
changes if you wish to do so. A video sequencer
is provided for easier video sequence creation.

Effects and Transforms
Chasys Draw IES supports many image effects and
transformations. You can add your own using
either the in-built code interpreter or
convolution matrices. Adobe custom filters are
also supported.

Image Video Stacking
Chasys Draw IES supports basic image stacking,
allowing you to eliminate moving objects blocking
your view, perform noise reduction, and other
specialist effects such as multi-frame
super-resolution. Heuristics-based
super-resolution is also included to assist with
those tiny line-drawings, cartoons and charts.

Advanced Printing

• Fit, Center on Paper
• Fit, Center on Printable Area
• Stretch to fill Printable Area
• Use specified dimensions...In this mode, the
  software attempts to make sure that the final
  printout's dimensions are equal to the specified
  width and height to within an accuracy of a
  fraction of a millimeter.
• Multi-print Blow-upIn this mode, you can to
  specify how many pages should used per print the
  image is stretched and split as necessary to
  cover all the sheets. This allows you to print at
  any size using a normal printer.

Programmable
Chasys Draw IES has an in-built Graphics
Assembler (GraphAsm). You can now write short
programs to implement your own custom visual
effects!!

Converter and Viewer
Chasys Draw IES comes with its own batch file
converter and file viewer. These are designed to
be fast, efficient and easy to use.
