• -Businesses dont last more than a year/ cannot
  sustain.
• -Lacking knowledge to keep business going

• Smaller business owners arent educated in
  sustaining business
• Bring in diversity in retail- Grocery stores,
  theatres, brand-name clothing stores
• Current economic situation is holding many
  businesses back.

Recommendations

• Need to ensure that prospering retail maintain a
  stable business
• Businesses, like those in Pilsen, need the
  knowledge to maintain their business
• Business could sustain if the owners could learn
  the same knowledge that the retail in places like
  State St. already know
• Not only will it encourage consumers to go to
  these business, but it will increase commerce in
  places that strongly need it.
