officer, to seek an opportunities to being
strategic partner, especially for new projects/
program within Indonesia that use funding from
world bank. World bank stated that the
relationship should be followed up closely to
Bapenas, since World bank already commanded
Bapenas to set up metrics for project
performance. We did meet with Bapenas deputy,
Mr. Lothan and mentioned about Project Management

Wheeling as well as Becky and 100 helped by
Oliver Graham in convincing PMI Hq, about the
structuring PMI in country level, until the
provincy level has own chapters. Its important to
scoping the PMI Jakarta officer, especially
indoing PMI Jakarta socialization. Results In
the leadership meeting held in Sydney, Lyn
Wheeling stated that no worry about the location
scope, PMI Hq understand that PMI Jakarta is
representing PMI Indonesia. Its discussed when
Australia do a meeting to clarify their intention
to establish PMI Australia level, just like New
Zealand. Challenges for New BOD to make the
Jakarta officer has scope of location bigger than
its name, and the name would be changed PMI
Indonesia Chapter. This challenge has higher than
50 opportunity to achieved.

Progress Internal Capabilites Policies,
standards, procedures This initiaves was not run
at all, since all of officer busy in the
comunication angle. Conduct OMM regularly The OMM
condusct regularly from kick off meeting until
september. After then there is no OMM
meeting. The plan to conducting national level
Project management seminar is postppone. Challenge
for New BOD Legal entity of PMI Jakarta Akte
pendirian, AD/ART already established and
accpeted by PMI Hq. NPWP, and financial account
of PMI is crucial angle. Its happened for 3 years
from now. Suggestion PMI should hire specialist
to arrange NPWP and finacial account. This
officer usually part of Tax officer. Location
PMI has secretariat address, using Astra Graphia
office. WebSItes PMI Jakarta already set up
website and actively accessed by potential
members as well as its member.

- We have stronger position in PMI regional, since
we do involve actively on their network and
knowledge sharing - We have stronger position among proffesionals
within Indonesia. Before some of them did not
know about this organization, but after we are
active do relationship with media, then step by
step, the proffesional eager to know further
about PMI Jakarta. The technology shifted that
make flexi time worker and alliances approach
also drive our proposition up in Indonesia market - Many ppl asked thru emails ( around 300 emails in
2 years) asked about PMP and how to get PMP
certification. Some of them asked as well the
training provider that conduct PM training. - Awareness to gain global competitiveness in
human resource development also drive this
organization being more familiar in universities. - The fact that PMP get better position and bigger
influence in the workforce environment also gain
the familiarization of PMI organization. - PMP examination fee being not much expensive
compared to year 1998 - 2000

- Internal Factors
- Based on the last ballots, so many ppl interested
to being PM Jakarta officer. Its dramatically
different compared to the last 2 years ago. - Awareness to serve better to PM members from the
officer point of view - Since many ppl are willing to being PMI Officer,
then its easier to establish strong organization,
and ask full commitment from each officer to
contribute actively for PMI Jakarta. - In trend of OMM results, we did not have any
defisit. It make our financial sceme being better
than before year 2002.

- Continues srengthen relationships with
universitiies, business communities, government,
especially legislative bodies - Continue to convince to PMI Hq about PMI
Indonesia Chapter (subject to be discussed) - Continue to play as key player in the PMI
regional level - Continue to send its member (WITHOUT ABSENT) to
join leadership meeting. If there is no BOD level
cant go, this seat should be shared to PMI
Jakarta Member. This action is so important to
continue networking among PMI officer to external
bodies, and to leverage our capabilities thru the
brainstorming session held in leadership meeting. - Continue to leverage an opportunities to beign

- Set up ASAP the NPWP and clarify of PMI Jakarta
Account. - Set up the financial accounting policies,
procedures and its standards - Set up at least 1 national project management
meeting, if it can be achieved, it should be in
time when the PMI regional roadshow is held.

- Its right time to enhance an ortganization of PMI
Jakarta. Every VP shall have at least 3 member to
being active in playing the role. - Each officer shall have strong intention,
integrity, and consisten in making this

demand from potential ppl to join PMI members - Being a REP organizatin, since most of ppl who
ask about PMI Jakarta are the one who is willing
