  French schools.

  journals and magazines, etc.
• Technology enhances cybertropism (Hoopingarner)
  and makes learning more interesting and
  motivating than a plain sheet of paper.
• The big question revolves around their ability to
  comprehend and process information.

Lesson Plan

• By the end of this lesson, students will be able
  to recognize spoken words, to identify synonyms
  and antonyms, to associate pictures to words, and
  to demonstrate understanding of formal speech.
• Using PowerPoint as a tool to introduce various
  elements of language in an entertaining fashion.
• Students have been introduced to basic English
  for 60 minutes of English per week since grade 3.
• QEP Use of the four skills targeted (listening
  of words and song, reading the PowerPoint
  presentation, writing of a skit, speaking while
  presenting the skit). Meets the targeted 3
  competencies of ESL at the elementary level.
• The tasks of synonym and antonym and Mix Match,
  will allow students to raise their retrieval
  threshold level. Finally, they will deduce from
  the formal vs. informal speech exercise in order
  to be able to invent a formal speech in the end.
• Evaluation formality of skit.
