Teaching Philosophy My attitude toward study

• Participation means that you are involved in the
  discussion of the topic, it does not mean only
  attendance in the class.
• In order to be able to discuss you should be
  prepared to the class by reading required
  chapters in the textbook and articles in the
  Readings.

Teaching Philosophy Class culture

• Late arrivals are usually disruptive in big
  classes. So, please make sure that you arrive
  earlier than the class starts.
• Mobile telephones are also disruptive. Please,
  turn off your telephones before the class.
• Please, do not leave class during the class time.

Teaching Philosophy Written assignments

• Please, do not expect that lecturer will remind
  you that there is a deadline soon. Its your own
  responsibility to check the syllabus and know
  about deadline and submit your works on time.
• Paper turned in after deadline will have 5 points
  deducted for each day its late.
• Any case of plagiarism is not tolerated in this
  University. You can get an F grade for the
  work.
• Please, put your ID instead of your name in front
  page of the paper.
• I will not have time to remind all of you to
  submit your papers on time

Teaching Philosophy Participation in the class

• I will try to have class questions for each
  lecture and answer on the questions during the
  class.
• However, I also expect that you will ask
  questions during the lectures and seminars. I
  strongly encourage your critical view of the
  subject.

  for nationality, ethnicity, gender, religious
  beliefs
