  specialist (The Good Anaesthetists) standards.

Appraisal Summary Statements

• Presence or absence of immediate concerns about
  the appraisees fitness to practise in relation
  to their performance levels.
• Whether sufficient supporting information was
  provided to enable the appraiser to make
  assessments about the appraisee.
• Whether there has been satisfactory progress with
  key elements in the previous years Personal
  Development Plan.
• Agreement that the Personal Development Plan has
  been derived from the current years appraisal
  discussion and should enable progress towards
  revalidation.
