SUICIDE???????
  • Suicide Act 1961, it was illegal to commit
suicide and anyone who tried and failed would be
subject to legal proceedings and possible
    detention.
  • The Suicide Act 1961 brought a change to the law
so that suicide is no longer a criminal act.
  • However, it is still illegal to 'aid or abet'
another person in taking their own life, and
anyone who does this may face a maximum 14 years
    imprisonment.

own life it is sometimes a noun for one who has

ill patient with assistance from a doctor, family
    member, or another individual.

term used when someone self harms, but does not
    kill themselves.
  • Could be a positive thing because they may just

conclusion
Based on the evidence that we have presented, it
shows that suicide in teenagers is on the fall,
but it is very common today. Suicide rates in
males has decreased immensely, as they have more
pressures to deal with (e.g. getting a good
education, peer pressure, trying to make friends)
whereas it has stayed average amongst women.
