Title: What would have happened if the South won

1
What would have happened if the South won???
  • By TJ S.

2
Follow me on a journey to see how life after the
Civil War would be if the South had been
victorious.
3
There were several issues that led up to the
Civil War. The main conflict between the North
and South was slavery.
4
Once the war began several important events took
place. These include Lincolns inauguration,
Attack on Fort Sumter, The Battle of
Fredericksburg, The first Conscription Act, and
much more.
5
The two main contributors in the Civil war were
Robert Lee and Ulysses Grant. They were the
leaders of the North and the Souths army.
6
With the Souths victory in the Civil War, a 13th
amendment was born and slavery in the United
States of America was here to stay!
7
The South had come out on top in the Civil War.
8
After the Civil War ended a few drastic
economical changes were made.
  • Agriculture became the main source of income for
Americans instead of industries like the North
    had envisioned .
  • There is a greater need for slaves in the United
    States.

9
Government changed after the war as well. This
included the president adding new amendments and
a few more minor changes.
10
Our world would be a lot different today if the
South were to win the Civil War. But luckily
this was not the outcome, and the south did not
win. Slavery is now abolished and the North
won!!!!
