What are record books all about?
  • Agricultural Education is Learning by Doing
  • The AET tracks your experiences in agriculture
  • Your experiences are
  • in the classroom
  • out of the classroom
  • participation in FFA events like contests and
    meetings

  • The Agricultural Experience Tracker
    (www.theAET.com) is the tool that tracks all your
    experiences and creates reports that analyze your
    records

How is the AET Organized?
  • Annual AET subscriptions are purchased for the Ag
    Program. Advisors create accounts for ALL
    students in their agriscience program
  • There are two types of AET users students and
    the advisor
  • Student accounts are organized into four
    sections
  • Profile information about the student
  • Journal records time spent learning
  • Financial records involve money invested in
    learning
  • Reports review records and analyze performance

How is the AET Organized?
  • The Advisor can access the following features
  • Student account management add accounts, review
    student records
  • Chapter activity tracker manage chapters
    calendar of events and document activities
  • Program-Level Reports aggregate student
    financial and experiential records economic
    impact reports

Communication in the AET
  • The AET Messaging System allows private messaging
    among advisors, students, and AET support staff.
  • This messaging system is internal to theAET.com
    and does not include typical email addresses it
    is designed strictly for Ag-related communication
  • Teachers can send assignments and information to
    students and check to make sure they are working
    on it!

SAE Portfolio and AET Community
  • Student upload files and pictures to the AET for
    FFA Award Applications
  • Advisors can review student uploads
  • Advisors upload files and pictures
  • Advisors may share files between Chapters in the
    AET Community

    website

    link on the left side of the logged in menu. You

Navigating the Student Side
  • Three control areas of the webpage
  • Left/Stats Menu gives you a quick look at your
    financial situation and journal hours
  • Top/Main Menu Profile, Journal, Finances,
    Reports. All features of program can be accessed
    from these links. Also, you can click the AET
    logo to return to the homepage.
  • Middle Menu / Work Area lists submenu items
    and data entry

AET helps Improve Records
  • Garbage inGarbage out keep good records daily,
    and you will have accurate reports
  • Efficiency reports are available on animal pounds
    such as gained per day, feed fed per day and
    conversion rates.
  • Reviewing Records each type of transaction
    (Journal or Financial) have a transaction list
    for reviewing entries. If you find a mistake,
    edit that entry on the spot!
  • FFA Award Reporting Generate all
    entrepreneurship and placement proficiency
    awards, American/State Degrees. Automatically
    saves your records into the Excel application.
    Save time and increase accuracy.

Using the Demo Account
  • Use the demo account to look around
  • The demo account is fully operational, but
    accounts are deleted every 24 hours.
  • There are two types of demo accounts
  • Blank account an empty account to add records
    and look at reports. This account is also useful
    for classroom assignments.
  • Example account creates a recordbook example
    that includes several experiences. You can
    change the records and look at the reports.

    chapter
  • Enter your information to see your subscription
    price
  • Accounts are renewable each year and start on
    August 1
