the Final Call for Applications and Proposals
which is a change to the original CFA/CFP
procedure document and clarification
emails. Purpose Explain the changes,
recommendations, and vote for approval on the
process for a Final Call Notice This document
has been prepared to assist the IEEE P802.15. It
is offered as a basis for discussion and is not
binding on the contributing individual(s) or
organization(s). The material in this document is
subject to change in form and content after
further study. The contributor(s) reserve(s) the
right to add, amend or withdraw material
contained herein. Release The contributor
acknowledges and accepts that this contribution
becomes the property of IEEE and may be made

  for Proposals
• Agree on a process and details - Vote.

• History
• First call for 802.11 WPAN

• Second call date time Feb. 4 -Email and
  instructions
• TG status date March 30th
• Concerns from some about not getting a chance to
  respond after the TG is formed.
• we wanted to submit after the TG was formed
  so we did not have to politically support the
  Study Group..

Rules and Expectations

• No Specific Rule Regarding the timing of CFPs
• 802 By Laws, Clause 5.2.1.1
• Openness is defined as the quality of being not
  restricted to a particular type or category of
  participants. All meetings involving standards
  shall be open to all interested parties.
• Any actions done by an SG cannot be binding on
  the subsequent TG but could be approved by the
  TG afterwards.
• Until a PAR is authorized, the TG has no legal
  existence to enable opening or closure of a CFP.

Action

• Open Final CFP
• Open it May 10th, for 21 days
• Use Call for Interest Letter process
• Post presentation schedule (before 6/16)
• All presentations must be available for the July
  meeting.
• No change to project plan.
