Whats Beach Walk?

• 17th Annual Beach Walk and Health Fair
• 5k Walk that raises funds for TCC
• TCCs largest fundraiser
• Last year the event raised - 72,000
• Last year there were over 500 participants
• The Walk also raises awareness about TCCs
  mission and programs

When Is Beach Walk?

• Saturday, October 27, 2007
• Registration 8 AM
• Walk Begins 9 AM
• Lunch Award Ceremonies 1130 AM
• Wellness Fair 10 AM 12 PM

Where Will Beach Walk Take Place?

• The Marina Green
• at the start of the Long Beach Bike Path
  (Shoreline Drive and Ocean Boulevard).

• Recruit over 300 Walkers for Beach Walk
• Raise 10,000
• Team Benefits
• Custom team t-shirts
• A special lunch is provided for all team members.
• Doing something good for the community, while
  getting to hang out with your friends family.

How to Raise Money

• Set individual and team goals.
• If youve participated in Beach Walk before, try
  to beat your best.
• If you are new to Beach Walk, start with a goal
  of 100.
• Write letters, make phone calls, ask everyone you
  know if they will sponsor you.
• Sign up the person you think will donate the most
  money first. This will set the precedent for
  other sponsors.
• Find 10 people to give you 10 each and youll
  reach your goal of 100.
• Sponsor yourself.
• Write in your own donation so potential sponsors
  can see you are dedicated to the cause.

So Whats In It For You?

• Prizes
• All walkers raising 50 or more will receive a
  Beach Walk 2007 t-shirt.
• Walkers raising 125 or more are eligible to
  receive one of the prizes listed below
• The over all top money raiser will win two round
  trip tickets to anywhere Jet Blue Flies and a two
  night stay at any Starwood hotel.

Lastly

• All money (except online donations) must be
  turned in at the Beach Walk.
• Walk sponsorship brochures will be available by
  September 14, 2007.
