The eternal pre-existence of the Logos

• John 11
• In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was
  with God, and the Word was God.

The eternal Logos is the Creator of all things

• John 12, 3
• He was in the beginning with God. All things
  came into being through Him, and apart from Him
  nothing came into being that has come into being.

Life is an essential quality of the eternal Logos

• John 14, 5
• In Him was life, and the life was the Light of
  men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the
  darkness did not comprehend it.

The Logos brings light as He comes into the world
where men love darkness.

again in judgment

  wages war. And His eyes are a flame of fire, and
  upon His head are many diadems and He has a name
  written upon Him which no one knows except
  Himself.
