A church is organized in a healthy way when it
is able to achieve its congregational goals in an
effective manner. Unhealthy organization exists
when a church is unable to perform according to
the vision God has given to its leaders. (Phil
Van Auken Sharon Johnson in The Deacon, 12/88
Healthy Church Organization. )
17Way Forward
- Continue to strengthen the Accountability Groups
- Formation of a M E team to develop effective
programmes on-going activities within the
Church community - Sick list announcement/publication in morning
program. - At least one joint meeting with Adults Youth
group per month. - Improve the organisation of the altar counseling
team for more effective service - Strengthen the Ushers ministry to enhance
hospitality within the church. - Create effective means of attracting retaining
men to/within the church. (Mens Fellowship,
Youth/Adult Fellowship, Sports/Recreation
ministry) - Re-formulate a Visitation team
- Resume issuing the visitation card to visitors to
complete during the morning service and be
collected by ushers.
