12Team Choice Reschedule Summary
- These games are only the games where a team has
requested a reschedule and do not include weather
or referee no show. - From the charts we can see that we are not very
successful at playing the rescheduled games
within the required 3 weeks of the original game
date. There are some recommended changes to the
Rescheduling Policy.
13Game Feedback
- In mid July we implemented a feedback
questionnaire for each game on - Forgot to include feedback on the team staff but
will add for next season. - For the 2007 Season we will use the information
we gain from the feedback to help us decide where
we will send Match Monitors. Coaches need to be
honest in their feedback completion if it is to
be of any value. Will never be used for
discipline, only as an indicator of where we may
have problems.
14Game Feedback Referees
- Feedback was requested for Arrival Time,
Appearance, Conduct, Positioning, Control and
effective usage of Assistant Referees. - 214 Referees with more than 5 reports
- Arrival 4 Referees identified as consistently
late - Appearance not an issue
- Conduct/Position/Control identified 15
unsatisfactory referees and more that can use
some help - ARs used most of the reports indicate the
referee used their ARs. I suggest that the
coaches did not take the time to accurately
comment

17Game Feedback Fields
There were 298 reports where the field was
identified as unsatisfactory and 42 where both
teams indicated the field was unsatisfactory.
The only fields that had more than 3
unsatisfactory assessments by both teams are
shown below. Only 2 fields were identified as
unsatisfactory consistently.
18Mini Referee Assignment
- Had some challenges this season that we can
hopefully get fixed for 2007 - Everyone completed the assigning in September so
all Clubs are prepared to use the system for 2007 - Later in the presentation you will see how the
referee reporting in Ref Centre is critical to
the ERSL conducting business
19Regional Assistant Referee Assignment
- Mixed success
- Inconsistent assignment in Ref Centre so this was
not used to determine if ARs were assigned - Game sheets were used instead
20How We Do Business
21League Management System
- The ERSL utilizes and League Management System to
manage the day to day operations of the league.
Through the web-based system the ERSL conducts
the following activities - Game scheduling and rescheduling
- Game sheet creation
- Referee assigning (by Districts and Clubs). The
ERSL schedules are tied to the Referee assigning
system - Game reporting by Coaches
- Game reporting by the Referees and
- Discipline.
- The League Management system enables the ERSL to
efficiently operate the league with a minimum of
staff and therefore it is important that everyone
does their part in quickly and correctly.

following web page.http//www.soccer.on.ca/Commit

e16/35553ae860112b138525718e0043b6a7?OpenDocument - The current Youth Pyramid For Play structure
consists of a four level structure based on
Provincial League, Regional Leagues, District
Leagues and Club Leagues. - The new Youth Pyramid For Play structure
approved, in principle, by the OSA Board on April
30, 2006 consists of a seven level structure
based on Level 1 League, Level 2 Leagues, Level 3
Leagues, Level 4 Leagues, Level 5 Leagues, Level
6 Leagues and Level 7 Leagues. - Over the next couple of months the EODSA and SOSA
will be determining how their District will fit
into the new pyramid. This may require some
changes to the Premier and / or Division 1
divisions. In all likelihood the changes will be
transparent to the Clubs and teams. - Decisions should be made for the next LMC meeting
after the ERSL AGM
