What is the FGDL

• The Florida Geographic Data Library (FGDL) is a
  mechanism for distributing satellite imagery,
  aerial photographs and spatial (GIS) data
  throughout the state of Florida. The data is
  organized by county, state, and coastal areas.

• FGDL 1.0 1998 (80 layers)
• FGDL 2.0 1999 (160 layers)
• FGDL 3.0 2000 (250 layers)
• FGDL 2003 Spring 2002 (350 layers)
• FGDL 2004 Spring 2003 (350 layers)
• FGDL 2005 Spring 2004 (350 layers)

FGDL Version 2006

• Version 2006 is the latest FGDL release
• Released May 2007
• Includes new and updated layers collected in
  2006, as well as existing FGDL layers.
• Over 100 new updated layers
• Download at www.fgdl.org/download

ETDM Data

• Period July 1, 2006 June 30, 2007
• 397 New or Updated layers
• Data from 37 sources
• Latest Parcels and Parcel derived layers
  typically released in October.

FGDL Versions

• Annual FGDL Versions will be released each
  spring (around Tax Day)
• Versions will be dated as the year prior (ex In
  March 2008, FGDL Version 2007 will be released
  a culmination of all data gathered in 2007).

FGDL Data Disclaimer

• The data layers available for download in FGDL
  may not be the most current version of the data.
  More recent versions of the data may be available
  from the data source. We suggest that you check
  the FGDL metadata and check with the data source
  to see if more recent versions of the data are
  available.
