LOUSIANA FROG FESTIVAL
RAYNE, LA
From the opening fais-do-do, a World Champion
Frog Jumping Contest, a spectacular fireworks
display and incredible entertainment, you are
guaranteed to have a JUMPING good time.

Next, Flat Luke danced on over to the Breaux
Bridge Crawfish Festival to enjoy some Cajun
music and eat some mudbugs.

BREAUX BRIDGE, LA.
The Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival has crawfish
eating contests, cajun dancing, crawfish races,
and a crawfish etouffee cook-off.

Next, Flat Luke shot right on up I-49 to the
historic town where the movie Steel Magnolias was
filmed.

Natchitoches Christmas Festival of Lights
In Natchitoches, Flat Luke saw the most amazing
fireworks display. After the grand finale of
fireworks
beautiful lights displays appeared all along
the banks of Cane River Lake. He LOVED the
funnel cakes and meat pies!

Flat Luke travels to Shreveport in the northwest.

Holiday In Dixie
Shreveport, LA
Holiday In Dixie is a multi-cultural festival of
events that lasts approximately ten days in the
Shreveport areacarnival, parade, air show,
treasure hunt, beauty pageant and much more.

Flat Luke travels south to New Orleans.

Mardi Gras
New Orleans Mardi Gras is the best known and one
of the oldest Fat Tuesday celebration in the U.S.
More than four million people visit New Orleans
during Mardi Gras every year.

Finally, Flat Luke makes his way back across the
Bonne Carre Spillway, West on I-10, across the
Mississippi River Bridge, to his dear Lukeville
