2What is the most important question
that this text asked the reader?
Would you have said yes? Do you take your life
for granted? Are you sure that what you do and
where you go are safe and are you making the
right decision? These are some questions that
went through my mind while reading this book.
3I would not have had the heart and the motivation
to say YES.
Only sometimes I take my life for granted, but I
truly look around and thank God for every second
I am here because I see death all around me and I
am so thankful for having all my family member
healthy and still living.
I am not a follower, but I used to be and now I
know that I should make sure I keep myself safe!
4summary
Waking up and going to school every morning was
something that Casie Bernall did every day. But
one day was different it was the day that will
change peoples lives forever. It was the
Columbine Shootings. She was hiding in the
schools library and all the chaos that was going
on made her scared. She got held at gunpoint and
asked the famous question, Do you believe in
God? She answered YES and was blown away. She
once lived a life like the two boys of the
shootings. It is amazing that she found God and
got help and then people say that God chose her
death. One thing I guess we will never know
why?
5Everyone can change their lives for the better.
You should always try to turn your life around.
So many people did it. This story teaches you

making mistakes, there is still a positive life
for you.

with love and hope. Never take one day for
granted.
What people saw during the shootings, and what
they heard. A story from a parent that had a
child lost in these tragic shootings. To let
people know they are not alone.
purpose
If you believe in God, He has a life plan for all
of us, and for her it was that she would get back
on the right track and let everyone know by her
story that it can be done. Even though it is a
sad ending, she actually let her mom know she
wanted to die to be with God.
6On a spring day in April, 1999, a suburban high
school in Jefferson County, Colorado, found
itself under attack by two of its own students.
In less than fifteen minutes of the first lunch
period on that Tuesday, two student gunmen killed
13, including Cassie, and wounded 21 before they
turned the guns on themselves - the most
devastating school shooting in U.S. history

7WHY?
Some think that the shooting was caused by the
music they listened too. Everyone was blaming
Marilyn Manson. He is a weird looking guy with
death lyrics. When the shooting occurred, the
shooters parents searched their rooms and found
the same CD in both boys players. Onlookers
began to label kids that dressed and listened to
that genre of music, which left innocent kids in
the midst of it all.
