Health Services
  • Under the direction of a Nurse Practitioner with
    a doctoral doctoral degree and care is provided
    by Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses.
  • Usually, there is no charge for services
    however, some of services, such as screening,
    tests cost.
  • They offer as low cost as possible.
  • Appointments are required, but walk-in is always
    welcome.

  • Treatment of minor injury and illness Colds,
    Headaches, Stomachaches
  • Screenings Blood pressure, HIV testing, Physical
    Exams, Strep test
  • Immunizations Flu shots, Hepatitis AB, MMR,
    Tuberculosis skin test
  • Womens Health Birth control education, Breast
    care education
  • Alcohol and Drug Prevention Alcohol and drug
    education
  • Health Education and Wellness Blood drives,
    Cholesterol screening

Career Services
  • To all degree-seeking students and alumni of the
    university.
  • A professional is available to design to help
    choosing a major and /or career.
  • Career assessments, on-line resources, and
    individual assistance are available.
  • Job Fairs in August, September, February and
    March.

  • Web-based software to have access to job leads.
  • 35 initial registration fee, renewal is 10.
    This fee covers the cost of activation for
    individual access to the web-based software.

  • Charge is usually free for the first session,
    however, after first session, they charge 10 in
    each session.

University Eye Center
  • Located on the South Campus of the University of
    Missouri-St. Louis.
  • Full service eye care facility, open to the
    public.
  • Members of the UM-St. Louis community receive fee
    reduction on eye examinations (free for the first
    time), glasses(50 off) and contact lenses(20
    off).

  • Students who have a valid ID Free admission to
    all home athletic contests, excluding conference
    and NCAA playoff matches.

  • Wellness programs and classes
  • Yoga, body challenge, spin, powersport, stretch
    and tone, etc
  • One session is about 45 minutes to 90 minutes,
    costs 25 for 1 session, 45 for 2 sessions.
  • Personal training Fees are based on an hourly
    rate. (3 for body fat analysis, 40 for complete
    fitness consultation, 40 for personal
    training/fitness)

Discount for Students
  • Student life office and University Program Board
    offer discount tickets for students.
  • Tickets are usually 50 off and students can buy
    2 tickets with their student ID.
  • Tickets we had in the past
  • Fox Theater, Cardinals games, Blue games, Soccer
    games, Taiko performance, Six Flag, Touhill etc
