Systems of Care and Education Mission Statement
  • To ensure access to a full array of effective and

for families with children and adolescents, ages
birth through 21, who have or are at risk of
    serious emotional disturbance, developmental or
    educational disabilities, substance abuse issues,
or special health care needs. These services and
supports will be culturally competent, family
centered, strength focused, and available in the
context of regional, multi-agency systems of care
bringing together both public and private
providers with natural supports. Services and
supports are designed to promote healthy growth

Lessons Learned
  • One is the loneliest number
  • Roles must be well-defined
  • People need a purpose
  • Training needs to be multi-level
  • Some training needs to be for one group, some
training requires multi-group participation to be
    effective.
