23- Notify NYC is a new service designed to enhance
the delivery of emergency information to the
public. - During the pilot phase, the City will test
different kinds of public messaging, including
email, text messaging and telephone, to determine
the best way to launch a citywide program. - There are currently four communities involved in
the pilot - Lower Manhattan, Northeast Bronx, Rockaways and
Southwest Staten Island.
