About the Questionnaire

• Designed to promote discussion on the
  considerations for selecting Age Ranges for a
  National Scout Organisation
• 8 Considerations taken from the RAP methodology
  (WOSM)
• Respect the Development Stages of the child
• Take account of exiting Social Groupings
• Base Scouting on Peer Groups
• Maintain a good balance between the Sections
• Be Flexible to cater for individual needs
• Propose a reasonable length of Scout experience
• Senior Sections Presents a relevant programme
  for them
• Take account of Adult Resources
• Also to gather data on existing Age Ranges
• And to promote discussion of considerations for
  choosing Section Names
