• It is important to have a clear understanding of
  who the vulnerable groups and the main
  determinants of inequity, so interventions can be
  implemented in an equitable way.
• Once heterogeneity between the 2 groups of
  population is suspected make the decision to get
  ME expertise if needed to address equity in the
  baseline assessment.
• The stratified measurement of the population can
  lead to incorporating Equity into the DIP using
  strategies to close the gap between the two
  subgroups of population.
