VSDAS (Village School Development and Aid
Society) - VSDAS mandate is to relief poverty through
education and micro-projects in Zambia - In Zambia no school means no trained teachers and
high dropout rates, especially for women - Option to
- provide ongoing aid to a 3rd world community
(adopt a community) - go to Zambia and build the school

(Patrick Mpulubsi) - 2009-2010 - 3,000 in budget

VSDAS raise more money or commit to future
support - More info at http//www.vsdas.org/
25Other Priorities
- Recruit GSE (Group Study Exchange) team member
this actually a vocational project - Thank Alex for sending birthday cards to Rostov,
Russia (Alexs former club) - Investigate future Friendship Exchange with
Rostov, Russia
26Challenges
- RI matching grants require a minimum of 5,000USD
- If all possibilities for grantable projects work
out we need to (a) increase future budgets or (b)
get other clubs on board - We have a lot of small projects, which requires a
lot of manpower - Need to leave club some future flexibility
