Six out of ten women suffer from gender violence.
In Latin America, there are lots of differences
between men and women in terms of work, roles,
and education.

ARGENTINA Consejo Nacional de la
mujer (National Women Council) It is a
national organization that gives protection to
women in Argentina who are victims of gender
violence. In this organization people help the
ones that suffer from gender violence. Argentina
has laws that protect women, but there is no
justice. This organization works with UNICEF.
LATIN AMERICA UNIFEM (United Nation Development
Fund for Women) It is a foundation at the
United Nations. It provides financial and
economical assistance for women. It is devoted
to the elimination of all form of discrimination
against women. Its fight is based on an
international human rights treaty that wants to
equalize genders.
