Content
  • Key here is to identify the correct issues, only
then will your recommendations make sense
  • Frameworks to structure your ideas
  • Examples SWOT, 3Cs, 4Ps, 5 Forces
  • The point is not to impress the judges by what
framework you use, but what conclusions you
    derived from it
  • Prioritize the issues, there is no need to answer
    every single question found
  • Structure your recommendations such that it
    adequately addresses the major issues
  • 3 is the magic number, but dont force-fit
  • Analysis of options before you recommend
  • Consider feasibility and mitigating factors
  • Slides you need to have
  • Executive summary
  • Agenda or roadmap
  • Situational analysis
  • Detailed recommendations
  • Timeline or implementation schedule
  • Financials
  • Conclusion
  • Slides that will be good to have
  • What if? Contingency planning
  • Appendices back-up slides
  • Each slide should contribute to the development
    of your story
