• There are many streets by my house.

• The street is what cars, vans, motorcycles, and
  trucks drive on.

• Many cars drive on a street.

• Playing on the grass is safe. Grass ends when it
  reaches the street.

• I ask my family if I can cross the street.

• They may cross the street with me.

• We look for cars before crossing the street.

• If there are cars, we wait to go across.

• If a ball or a toy I want is on the other side, I
  tell an adult Id like to cross the street.

• We look both ways for cars before we go to the
  other side.

• We keep walking when we cross the street.

• I stop when I reach the other side where it is
  safe.
