• How did people tell time at night when there was
  no sun? Brainstorm ways you think they were able
  to do this.
• If we use the sun during the day, then we can use

  Earth rotates, so does the moon and the stars.

• Days and years are determined by Earths rotation
  around its axis and revolution around the sun.
• Each day Earth takes roughly 24 hours to rotate
  around its axis once.
• To make one full year, Earth takes 365.26 days to
  orbit the sun once.
