    characters.

Formatting Lists
  • Word supports automatic generation of numbered

  • Type the numeral 1, a period, a space, and then

Performing A Mail Merge
  • The Mail Merge feature lets you combine the
    elements of a document (such as a form letter)
    with data values from a separate file (such as a
    contacts list).
  • Access Mail Merge by clicking Tools Letters and
    Mailings Mail Merge.
  • Different versions of Microsoft Word present
    slightly different steps, but the process is
    essentially the same.

Creating and Printing Labels
  • The Envelopes and Labels feature allows you to
    easily create printed envelopes and mailing
    labels.
  • Settings are straightforward use the Envelopes
    tab for envelopes and the Labels tab for labels.
  • When creating labels, be sure to specify the

    Recording.
  • When creating a macro, you must specify the
    macros name and storage location.
  • You may assign the macro to a toolbar icon or
    keystroke combination.
