Interesting facts

• The largest desert is the Sahara desert, it takes
  up 3,250,000 square miles
• The highest dune discovered was in the Sahara, it
  was 1410 feet tall
• The driest desert in the world is the Atacama
  desert in S. America at 0.4 inches of annual
  rainfall
• The tallest cactus recorded is in Arizona, it is
  57 feet 11 inches tall and weighs several tons
