Description
  • The maned wolf stands about 5 feet and 6 inches.
It weighs about 50 pounds. It looks like a long

    a small mane.

3
Why Are They Endangered?
  • This wolf species is endangered because they
dont often mate but when they do, the females
can have up to 2 large cubs. Another reason they
are endangered is because farmers are burning
down forests so, the wolves have nothing to eat.

4
Where the maned wolf is located
  • The maned wolf species is located in the swampy
areas and the open grasslands of Brazil.

5
Food the maned wolf eats
  • The maned wolf species eats mammals, insects,
birds, reptiles, fruits, and wild plants.

6
Our opinion
  • We think the farmers should stop burning down the

    become extinct.
