The Plot/Setting

• The game takes the player to Berlin, back to the
  fall of 1989, to the days surrounding the fall of
  the Berlin Wall
• The player is a British photographer who meets a
  woman from east Berlin
• The woman is kidnapped and the player has to
  rescue her

The Twist

• In order to rescue the woman, the player has to
  complete a number of missions to obtain certain
  items
• The missions force the player to learn more about
  Berlins history between 1945 and 1989.

• The Erection of the Wall in 1961

Spatial/Temporal Exploration

• The player navigates the game in two ways
• Spatially, by means of a map of Berlin, which
  allows the player to jump between different
  locations
• Temporal, by means of a time machine

• A newspaper acts both as a multimedia fact book
  about Berlins post-war history
• And as a time machine to access the historical
  missions

• The game faithfully represents locations in

  in the Kreuzberg quarter.
