Knife/Machete

• Infinitive We brought the machete so when we
  get to the oasis to cut down limbs of the trees
  for the fire. Gerund The machete will be
  protecting us from the wild camels. Participle
  The machete will be dulled so there was a
  sharpener in the pack.

Rifle

• Participle We brought a rifle to protect
  ourselves just in some weird reason there were
  bandits in the middle of the Sahara dessert.
• Infinitive Also to kill poisonous lizards or
  snakes.
• Gerund Killing snakes and lizards will be very
  important while we stay in the desert!

MREs

• Infinitive We brought an MRE (meals ready to
  eat) so that if we got caught with out food we
  would be able to eat.
• Gerund The MREs are also going to fulfill our
  hunger needs.
• Participle The MREs will be fill our emptied
  stomachs.

Infinitive We brought matches to start a fire.
Gerund The matches are going to help us start a
fire in the middle of the desert. Participle
The matches will also help us run off those crazy
rabid camels that are lurking around everywhere.

Infinitive The binoculars are going to let us
see land farther away. Participle It will have
helped us on our journey. Gerund They are a
vital accessory that we adding to our daily
needs.

• Infinitive We have the camel to ride to the
  oasis.
• Participle After we get to the oasis we are
  going to use the rifle to kill the camel.
• GerundEating the camel comes after that.

• Infinitive We brought the first aid kit to heal
  our wounds if we get injured by a camel.
• Gerund It is helping us on our journey to the
  oasis.
• Participle This will have helped us after the
  journey.

• Gerund Some are going to be for the girls and
  some for the guys.
• Infinitive Even though we are stranded in the
  desert we still need to keep up with the latest

  ourselves while we are laying in the tent.
