started in 1993 to identify and develop
assessment measures in the area of health
education. We have been hard at work for 10
years!!

the U.S. Centers For Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC), Division of Adolescent School
Health (DASH).

education assessment resources through a
collaborative process, and to increase members
capacity to align curriculum, instruction, and
assessment to improve student health literacy
through improved health education instruction.

Purpose The purpose of the Steering Committee
(SC) is to provide leadership and advice to the
project staff, sub-contractors, and CDC Project
Officer (core team) on the issues and concerns of
the State Representative Team (SRT) members in
planning, developing, and using relevant health
education assessment materials.
