Gary Nine is an outstanding superintendent and
the Florence Unified School District is fortunate
to have him. He has a clear vision, and
continually leads us to success. How does he do
it? He puts children first! He lives this
vision and walks the walk. Gary Nine has a
strong foundation in curriculum and instruction.
He has years of experience and the fortitude to
lead our district with high standards and
expectations for all. He is a hardworking
charismatic individual who hires highly-qualified
professionals. Many of our Principals followed
him to our district because they respect him,
support his philosophy and, most importantly,
enjoy being around him. In fact, we all do.
Gary Nine has earned the respect of our community
and of each of the Board of Trustees. Dr. Nine
