Project Purpose/Goal

• Extension to our studies on America as a new
  nation (Articles of Confederation, Constitution
  Convention, etc.)
• You are challenged to design your own government.
• You have come across undiscovered land that is
  now yours!
• How will you govern this land???

• Utilize the internet for guided research.
• Browse and download imagery from the internet.
• Design a plan for a working government.
• Create a PowerPoint presentation.

• Steps
• Learn the ins and outs of PowerPoint
  presentations with Mr. McDonald.
• View PowerPoint presentation created by Mr.
  Natlo.
• Brainstorm ideas for your government plan.
• Conduct internet research and download imagery.
• Design and create PowerPoint presentations.
• Present government plans to entire class.

• You may only choose

• A FEW words per slide is all you need! The rest
  is presented by TALKING!

Rubric

• You will be graded on both your use of technology
  AND your government design/plan.
• Technology includes internet research, image
  browsing and downloading and PowerPoint
  presentation.
• Government plan includes your ideas regarding
  laws, leadership, economy, land/resources and
  peoples rights.
