Class Warning Cards

Broken Law

• Yellow Card WARNING! (Quiet Down)
• a) If one student acts out, it affects the whole
  class
• Red Card Point Taken Away
• b) If a student is put in timeout, the class
  loses one point
• Class starts off with 4 points a day.
• 1 pt - Enter Gym Quietly 1pt Lineup Quietly
• 1 pt - Listen Quietly to Directions 1pt -
  Participation and Teamwork
• Class must earn 32 out of 36 points over 9 weeks
  to earn Free Game Day

Student Discipline

• If PE Law of the Land is broken by an
  individual student
• One Verbal/Visual Reminder Student will look at
  the PE Laws posted on the wall for 1 minute
• Class automatically loses 1 point if a student is
  put in a timeout
• Second Reminder the student or students will be
  put in a timeout for 5 minutes
• Third and Final Warning, the student will sit
  down for the rest of the class period. Student
  will be sent to Mr. Carroll after class.

Message Board

• Class will read the message board as soon as they
  enter the gym.
• Write down your homework from last evening.
• Review board at end of class

Procedures

• Enter gym (quietly) and lineup by the teacher on
  the blue line
• Wait for directions
• Warm-up Movements to Music or Internet Radio
  Exercises
• Teacher directs students to squads for roll call
• Listen for directions for the days activity
• Follow PE Laws of the Land

Protocols

• Sneaker Station
• Positive Ending
• Message Board Write down homework
• Whistle Take a knee and listen

Sneaker Station

• Look for Sign on Wall
• This is the only place where you can stop to tie
  your shoes
• You do not have to ask to go to the sneaker
  station
• Walk to the Sneaker Station!
• If directions are given by the teacher while in
  the sneaker station, stop tying shoe and listen
• This is not a rest station or to be used to talk
  to your friend!!!!

• 3 second Drink
• Line up on the wall by the water fountain inside
  the gym
• If students abuse these privileges, they
• will be taken away

Phys. Ed. Homework

• Each Night you will perform some sort of physical
  activity for 30 minutes.
• When students enter the gym they will right down
  on the newspaper board what they did for homework
  the night before.
