Goal and Objective
The goal and objective of this presentation is to
examine sample activities in the six strands of
Social Studies. Particular emphasis will be
given to the Fifty States, its past, its people
and its institution.

- Take a field trip to the Ohio Historical Center.
- Have students research and create their personal

flag. - Take part in a mock trial and discuss the
American system of government.
