Saul Gitlin, Executive VP is the Executive Vice
President of Strategic Services and New Business
for Kang Lee Advertising, the leading Asian
multicultural communications and consulting
agency in North America. As a nationally
recognized expert and strategist in the field
cross-cultural and multilingual marketing and
communications, Saul has directed the agency
strategic planning teams for clients inlcuding
ATT, 10-10-345, Bank of America, Prudential
Insurance, Sears, Pernod-Ricard USA, Allstate
Insurance, The New York Times, ATT Wireless,
HSBC, The NBA, Harrahs Entertainment, TD
Waterhouse, AOL and FedEx. He also directed the
planning team for Census 2000 resulting in the
single largest research project in Kang Lees
history. This project won the prestigious
Advertising Research Foudntaionss (ARF) 2001
Grand Ogilvy Award, the hightest honor for
research in the adverstiting industry. In the
new business arena, Saul directed the agency
teams that won new accounts from Hallmark, Best
Foods/Mazola Corn Oil, Western Union, HR Block,
Bookspan, Martell Canada and Ford of Canada,
among others. Prior to joining Kang Lee in
1997, Saul worked overseas for 9 years, including
7 years in senior operations and marketing
positions for multinational corporations in the
Peoples Republic of China. He holds a B.A.
degree in Asian Studies from Cornell, an M.A. in
East Asian Studies from Yale, and M.B.A. from
Columbia Business School.
