  symbols
• May only recognize familiar people and objects
• Need clear, uncluttered background
• Need specific colours
• Need specific sizes
• Need auditory feedback

• Auditory processing difficulties

• (single word, two word phrases)
• May only recognize familiar voices
• May not be able to concentrate on auditory and
  visual information at the same time
• May need to use the same words every time
