• Tiny microscopic organisms, or living things that
  cause disease.

Germs can

• Sneak into our bodies without us even knowing.
• Invade plants, animals, and people and sometimes
  make us sick.

Germs can be found

• On our hands.
• Traveling on sponges and moist areas.
• Being carried on our pets.

We need to stay healthy by

• Making sure we wash our hands with soap and
  water.
• Cover our nose and mouth with a tissue when we
  sneeze or cough.
• Use a paper towel when cleaning up messes instead
  of sponges.
